Accessibility Statement

dawo wants as many people as possible to be able to use our online store. We are working to make dawo.eco accessible in line with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

Conformance status

dawo.eco is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means some content does not yet fully meet the standard — see the list below. We are remediating the known issues on an ongoing basis.

Known content that is not yet accessible

As of 15 June 2026 — being remediated.

• Colour contrast on some elements: our teal brand colour used as text, links, icons and some buttons does not meet the 4.5:1 contrast requirement (WCAG 1.4.3). We are introducing a darker teal shade for these elements.
• Heading order: some pages have heading levels that don't follow a logical order (WCAG 1.3.1). Being fixed.
• Icon links without text alternatives on some elements (WCAG 4.1.2). Being fixed.
• Visible focus indicator for keyboard navigation is being strengthened on some components (WCAG 2.4.7). Being fixed.

What works well

All images have text alternatives, form fields are labelled, the site has a skip-to-content link and clear landmarks, and content can be zoomed without loss of function.

Enforcement

The Norwegian Authority for Universal Design of ICT (uu-tilsynet), under the Norwegian Digitalisation Agency, supervises universal-design-of-ICT requirements in Norway. If you are not satisfied with how we respond, you can report it to uu-tilsynet (uutilsynet.no).
